Gurman Agency LLC was founded in 1993 and is a theatrical literary agency representing playwrights, composers, lyricists, directors, designers around the world, estates, as well as entire properties, such as THE WIZ.  The Agency also represents Scholastic books for stage adaptation as well as several other literary agencies.

Susan Gurman is a graduate of Barnard College, and received her MBA and PhD in Finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.  She is a member of the Association of Authors Representatives, and the Dramatists Guild, and is a signatory to the Writers Guild of America East.

Reilly Conlon has been with us since February of 2021. She holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University and a bachelors in Secondary Theatre Education and Secondary English from Eastern Michigan University. She loves all things theatre and is happy to support all the amazing artists at the agency. Currently, she resides in Harlem with her spouse and two wonderful pups.

A Multi-Hyphenate Artist herself, Patryce Williams Belvius is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. She has lent her talents onstage, behind the mic and behind the scenes. Prior to working for the Gurman Agency, Patryce has worked for Telecharge, The Public Theatre and The Juilliard School. Patryce is proud to be the Royalties Manager as she loves working with people. You can still catch Patryce here and there on stage and in front of the camera. You can hear her voice on various audiobooks listed on Audible and singing with her band, The Quiet Stars (available on all streaming platforms).

Lily Jane has been part-time with the Gurman Agency since 2015 as a webmaster, and more recently Associate Agent. She received her BA in English and Sociology from Union College in 2014, and loves problem solving and helping others. Though she herself has not done anything theatrical since elementary school where she starred in the Jungle Book as Baloo, she’s filled with a life-long love of performance art.
