Science fiction roars at Chester Theatre as Mark St. Germain’s latest play experiences its world-premiere production, directed by Julianne Boyd. Three actors play functionaries at a remote weather station in the Pacific, in the Aleutian islands, finding themselves abandoned by the government when a disastrous incident strands them. It is soon revealed that one of them knows more than should be understood, and the island of Amchitka becomes an unwilling captive as the entire Earth finds itself vulnerable to an alien attack. This is good stuff for theater, and the folks in Chester have spared no expense in producing this excellent play.
